I wish I had done research on how unreliable the Hontata's overpriced kit was before getting and installing it. Junk. Should have gone this. All the honda tuners recommend this over that, but also say both are unnecessary really until you make serious 500+ power.

NEED HELP HERE!🤚🏼🤚🏼🤚🏼🤚🏼🤚🏼I have the Burton racing copk on a obd2 distributor and I have and issue where my RPM tach stop working. In the beginning it will come and go once in a while and then it stop working completely. So I have change clusters to see if it was that but it does it with whatever cluster I switch too, RPM tach won’t work. What could it be?

How can you cut the blue wire you called it the speed reference, and still get RPM??

Any recommendations on aftermarket Distributors that work well with this? My OEM one went out, went to a Duralast one which works fine but it doesn't fit the block off plates. Apparently some have issues. I tried another brand and couldn't even get Spark.

Ok so question, obd2b does not need the rpm wire, but what if i have an obd2 to obd1 conversion? Do I now have to use that or is is it still ok to not use it?

Where can I buy the set up

I have a P28 OBD1 ECU on my B20 block B16 (vtec) head setup and I’m considering buying this kit. I have a few questions. 1.) The only thing that doesn’t come with this kit is the blank distributor cap and the mounting plate for the coil packs correct? 2.) If I have to adjust the base distributor timing, how would I connect a timing light to the coils? Or would I have to set timing permanently before installing the kit? 3.) You mention that the only part of the distributor that is still being used in the cylinder position sensor. Recently my autozone duralast distributor broke up for a split second during acceleration and threw a Code 9 (position sensor). I’m not sure if the sensor was the culprit or if was the ignition parts inside the distributor, but if I have to replace the distributor because my cylinder position sensor fails, would it be difficult to do with this kit installed? Thank you in advanced :)

Hands down the best Coil On Plug Kit out there. Easy to install. and Durability is just like OEM. Engine Idles smoother. And has more pulling power. 3,000 miles a month and have 30,000 miles on my coil on plug kit in 1 year. and still runs like new.

If I have a p28 with hondata s300 already installed, do I still need to install the board that comes with the kit and can I tune the coils in smanager like the hondata kit can?
